Planned Giving
Bequests are a wonderful way to support Maitri
and may provide estate tax benefits. A bequest may enable
you to make a larger gift than you thought possible.
There are different ways your estate can support Maitri:
• Designate a specific gift to
Maitri (such as property or a specific dollar amount)
• Leave a percentage of your estate to Maitri
• After your estate has provided for your loved
ones, leave all or part of the remainder of your estate
to Maitri
Bequests may also be made in honor or
memory of a loved one. In addition to cash and securities,
bequests may include real estate, works of art, or virtually
anything of value. All bequests are exempt from federal
estate taxation.
To learn how you can include Maitri in
your estate plans, please contact Dr. Anthony Adessa
at 415-558-3002 or tadessa@maitrisf.org.
